The Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit is the world’s first battery powered undersuit, designed to keep you toasty warm, even in the coldest conditions. Powered by two 7.4 volt Lithium Polymer batteries and worn under your wetsuit, drysuit, or even winter jacket, the Thermalution® will spoil you on a cold day. Whether you are in the water surfing, diving, kayaking, or kiteboarding or on dry land hunting, fishing, or snowboarding, this suit will change the way you feel about going out on a brisk winter day.
Thermalution® is by far the best heated wetsuit product available on the market! It has the smallest battery size of all heated wetsuit products, and with a weight of only 1.5lbs, it is worn virtually unoticed beneath your wetsuit or drysuit. Of all heated wetsuit products currently available, Thermalution® has the capacity to heat up in the shortest amount of time (under a minute), while been able to last for the longest duration (maximum 150 minutes per use). With three levels of adjustable heat,you can adjust the temperature of the thermal layer within your wetsuit, up to 75ft beneath the surface, giving you absolute control of the amount of warmth in your suit.
Thermalution® uses Far Infrared Ray technology, which doesn't just heat your skin like many other products. Thermalution® actually heats deep within your core, giving you improved blood circulation, enhanced cell and tissue regeneration, pain relief, and comfort to the entire body. You will be amazed at how much more comfortable you will feel after turning on the suit to even only the lowest of three settings. Once you have a session in a Thermalution, you won't ever want to venture out on a winter day without one!

Similar to any base layer clothing (like Under Armor®) Thermalution Undersuits can be worn beneath any wetsuit, dry suit, or jacket. It's most effective to wear directly on your skin.
Thermal protection of a wetsuit is limited to insulate your body and minimize heat loss. The thicker the neoprene, the warmer you'll feel, but you may get extremely exhausted by putting a thick wetsuit on. With our Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit, you can say good-bye to a thick wetsuit and enjoy a fun cold water sport with a thinner wetsuit, because Thermlation generates heat instead of only been able to reduce heat loss. By wearing Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit beneath your wetsuit it distributes the heat through whole body by the water underneath your wetsuit.
Thermalution Heated Undersuits use two 7.4 volt Lithium Polymer batteries. Battery Size: 4x2x0.5 Inches.
These are the same type of batteries found in your mobile phone or mp3 player. There is no danger of radiation, electric shock or explosion from these batteries. Batteries are compact and lightweight and are positioned outside of the undersuit at the sides of the chest, under the arms. It offers maximum freedom of movement and it's easy to change batteries.
Thermalution micro controllers are easy to use. To turn on the undersuit push and hold button for 2 sec. On start up it displays a green light and starts temperature on low. Push once more to change to medium temperature with an orange light indication and once more to change to high with a red light indication. To turn the undersuit off simply push and hold button for 2 sec.

Disclaimer: I don't work for heatedwetsuits.com, I am not sponsored by them and I bought this at retail from the web site.
That said, this is a great product. I have only used it three times; this only does one thing, keep you warm and it works well. I have only used this on the low setting since the conditions I was in were not exactly extreme but, much colder than I would have gone out without having this on. 48F water and 44F air was about the average for all three sessions.
The batteries sit high enough that it does not interfere with the harness which was my main concern. The next was putting this on with a top opening wetsuit. I was able to work it over the batteries no problem.
It would have been an interesting test to not have this on and then go out but, I was warm and comfortable so, never wanted to take it off. The low setting was enough for me, maybe if the air was down below 40F I would use the medium setting but, I don't ever think I would use high.
On low, I got 2.5 hours out of it.
Nice product and the guys at heatedwetsuits.com were great to deal with..

Finally someone has created a good quality heated wetsuit product! The Thermalution gets HOT, and easily takes the bite out of those offshore winds on your back while sitting in the lineup. Not to mention, changing in and out of my wetsuit is a lot warmer now. That's a little bonus before and after a cold session.
My biggest complaint is that the battery connectors are very small and tough for a large person to fidget with. I'm 6'5", and connecting and screwing in the tiny battery connectors is frustrating when you have Gorilla fingers like me.
Other than that, I love it! It's crucial if you surf through the winter. Easily adds at least 2 hours to my cold tolerance each session!

I am a deer hunter and during the season I am in a tree stand before day break. That first hour when the sun is just rising was what I used to call the dreaded shaking in you boots extremely cold temperature hour. It was a shame because usually that was when I should have been on alert watching for deer instead of concentrating on staying warm. The first time I hunted with the Thermalution Heated Undersuit, I was amazed. I did not turn it on until I started to feel my feet and hands getting numb from the cold. I turned the suit on medium heat and within minutes my hands were warm and my feet were no longer numb. I had to turn the heat to low because I had worn too many layers of clothing. This is an awesome product. I actually look forward to climbing up into my tree stand on those 10 to 20 degree mornings and watch the sun rise in warmth.

I was fortunate to try out a fiend's Thermalution Undersuit. I am hard core when it comes to quality and this product exceeded my expectations! I broke a sweat sitting still in rain with temperatures near freezing. It heats up fast...I mean real fast! It is high quality, comfortable, hot, hot, hot, and I am pumped about using it while kayaking and hiking this winter. Get it now!

The amount of heat that comes out of this suit is incredible, and I still can't believe how good this suit is at heating your core. I keep my batteries fully charged at all times because I never know when I will use it. I am still surfing in my 3/2 wetsuit with water temps in the upper 40s in North Carolina. This suit has changed the way I feel about surfing in the winter. I wanted to get a heated vest this winter to see what it was all about. I chose to go with Thermalution over the Quiksilver Cypher Vest simply because of it having 2x the battery strength. Also, the batteries are much thinner and sit a a lot higher on the vest. Being a kiteboarder, as well as a surfer, I am so glad that I did! My friends have been cursing me on the water all winter, ha ha! Everything seems just a little more fun when you are warm! Buy this suit, and your friends with the Quiksilver Cypher Vest will be jealous of you! Thanks a ton. Very Stoked!
1. What is "ThermalTek® heating wire"?
ThermalTek® is a non-metallic state of the art heating fiber. It possesses high heat transfer efficiency, low power consumption and generation of Far Infrared Ray which is beneficial to the human body while only emitting low EMI (Electromagnetic Interference).
2. Is the ThermalTek® heating wire waterproof? Is it washable?
ThermalTek® is waterproof, soft, flexible and does not oxidize with age. It's been tested to be twisted for more then 55,000 times per UL standard without damage. It's washable, and we recommend hand wash for better protection of the fabric. Please remove batteries and put-on connector cover prior washing.
3. How is the Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit superior to other similar heated wetsuit?
Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit is the only suit in the world that works with portable rechargeable batteries and can fit to any existing wetsuit or drysuit. Our Power Heated Undersuit has the capacity to heat up in the shortest amount of time (under a minute) while been able to last for the longest duration (maximum 110~140 minutes per use). In addition, it has a temperature micro controller with ON/OFF and 3 temperature settings ensuring it to be the most friendly design you ever need compared to other products that use chemical heaters and require boiling or microwaving.
4. Can your products function normally in extremely cold weather?
Yes. Our rechargeable battery is strictly tested to function in cold condition up to -20C. With the battery mostly wrapped inside heated clothing, you have much higher cold-resistance than you imagined.
5. Are your products agency certified?
Thermalution® power heated modules are tested and certified to CE, TUV, UL and IP waterproof standards.
6. For diving or surfing, when water flushed into your wetsuit, will temperature dropped and make you feeling cold?
No. Actually the flushed-in water helped because the water circulated around the wetsuit and helped distribute the heat. Even your feet can feel the warmth.
7. When the neoprene wetsuit already possesses thermal protection, why do I need Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit?
Thermal protection of wetsuit is limited to insulate your body and minimize heat loss. When diving, as you descend in the water, your wetsuit will be compressed due to the water's pressure. This compression of the wetsuit reduces your buoyancy and thermal protection. There is no way to make up for the lost insulation once you're in the water EXCEPT for using our Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit as it can GENERATE heat instead of only been able to reduce heat loss. Also, the thickness and quality of neoprene determine the function of wetsuit. The thicker the neoprene, the warmer you'll feel, but you may get extremely exhausted by putting a thick wetsuit on. With our Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit, you can say good-bye to thick wetsuit and enjoy a fun cold water sport as in warm water.
8. How does the cold affects us during cold water activities?
Being exposed to cold conditions can cause reduction of your blood's circulation and increase of your air consumption. It will waste your energy and your finger dexterity will be reduced and this will lessen your ability to perform certain skills for sport. The effects of being could climax into a real emergency.
9. What is the difference between Power Heated Undersuit -70m and Undersuit -15m?
The -15m Undersuit is designed for surfing and other water activities performed largely above the water, while the -70m Undersuit is designed for diving purposes. There are no functional differences between the two products, but the -15m Undersuit is less capable of diving into deep depths as it can not handle as much water pressure as the -70m Undersuit.
10. Is the Undersuit fabric resistant against high temperature?
Yes. Our Thermalution® Heated Undersuit is using the most advanced fabric which is heat-resistant up to 150℃.
11. Is battery safe in deep salt water?
The batteries used are the same type of batteries found in your mobile phone or mp3 player, hence there is no danger of radiation, electric shock or explosion from our batteries. The difference is that they are contained in a complete waterproof case and are connected to your Undersuit with waterproof connectors that have been gold-plated to prevent corrosion from seawater. In addition our batteries have been tested 100m underwater for pressure resistance to ensure performance.
12. Is there special care required for the maintenance? What does it do to us?
Yes. For better protection, we suggest hand wash only. To avoid seawater damaging the product, please rinse and clean the entire suit by tap water, and wipe dry the connector heads. Please have connector cover plugged prior washing and storing.
13. You have mentioned the Far Infrared function of your product. What is Far Infrared?
According to scientific reports, Far Infrared Ray (FIR) is a spectrum of natural sunlight with a wave length of 5.6 to 100 microns. The human body requires 6 to 14 microns to activate various biological functions. Testing of PETATECH® International Company, Ltd. Products, performed by Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, demonstrate the desirable 8 to 10 micron FIR radiation provided by our products. The effects and function of FIR can be summarized as follows:
* Improve circulation
* Stimulate cell growth
* Provide warmth, and relieve joint pain and stiffness.
* Accelerate metabolism
* Improve muscle tone and posture
14. How to wear the Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit?
Fully charge the battery and connect the batteries before putting it on. The Undersuit is worn directly on your skin, with your wetsuit immediately outside it.
15. How does the Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit work?
The most advanced heating panel adapts into the Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit, and it can heat up the core temperature in minutes. This allows the Thermalution® Power Heated Undersuit to become a thermal lining; hence it will distribute the heat through whole body by water underneath your wetsuit.
16. What is the performance time of the Thermalution® Power Heater Undersuit?
The most economic time is around 110-150 minutes per full charge and due to the quality of the Thermalution® lithium polymer battery set, its average lifespan allows about 500 recharges.
