Isurus i-Evade 4.5.4 Hooded

  • The i-Evade provides similar warmth to a traditional 6/5/4, but with less leading-edge SCS. This suit is designed with a warm, non-restrictive 2 mm hood made from Yamamoto Nano Hydrodynamic Coating.

  • ANATOMICALLY DESIGNED PANELS
Tri-athlete Inspired Panel Design for Maximizing Stroke Output and Recovery. Each panel synergistically works with the natural range of motion and flow of the athlete to enhance surfing performance.
  • AERODOME
Innovative material that maintains higher thermal temperatures and improves buoyancy. Isurus maximizes the use of Yamamoto Aerodome in the core insulating panels of the torso. Aerodome is widely recognized as the most effective insulating neoprene on the market.
  • FORWARD PROPULSION SYSTEM (FPS)
The inside forearms of the wetsuit have special entrapment zones designed to trap water during the catch phase of the stroke. This creates drag, resulting in greater power output per stroke and increased distance paddled. The FPS has been proven to increase swim speeds in triathlete competitions.
  • HOOD DESIGN
SCS Thermo insulated Yamamoto. Yamamoto patented SCS improves the comfort to wear ratio and reduces the stress from the suit to the head. It contains a patented SCS membrane coating that makes the material ultra hydrophobic and wind resistant while drastically reducing the material thickness. The interior Thermo insulated membrane is applied over the closed cell neoprene and has amazing thermal properties. It is the thinnest, warmest and most comfortable hood available.
  • UNDERARM / LATERAL PANEL
The critical factor for maximizing paddle output is proper design of the underarm panel. Using proven bio-mechanical design principles from competitive tri-athlete wetsuits we designed a one piece panel from the hip to the elbow joint, no seams means less restriction. The underarm panel is the key panel which dictates the degree of unrestricted shoulder and arm movement, releasing the stroke action and allowing for a complete extension along the Latissimus dorsi muscles to enhance the pull phase of the stroke.
  • ROTATION AXIS
To aid in flexibility and movement, anatomical joints and seams were adjusted to fit to the upper and lower limbs in the natural flexibility zones. This enhances the performance of the Yamamoto neoprene so that the energy can be focused on surfing and not wasted working against restriction.
  • PIVOT KNEE
To assist in natural movement of the knee, asymmetrical joint adjustments were made to the lower leg panel along the Peroneus longus muscle. This enhances the flexibility of the Yamamoto neoprene stretch and elasticity, so the pattern is working to divert restriction on the knee.

Product Warranty

Isurus products have a one-year warranty for the original purchaser from the date of purchase on manufacturing defects. Proof of purchase is required.
The warranty policy is void if the wetsuit is damaged beyond repair due to sun exposure, improper care and drying of the product and normal recreational wear and tear of the product. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product at the discretion of Isurus and does not include consequential damages, incidental damages to person or property.

Care Instructions

Here are some simple recommended tips that will help to maximize the life of your ISURUS wetsuit.

AFTER USE
After each use the wetsuit should be rinsed thoroughly with fresh water. Fill a tub or large basin with fresh water and submerge the wetsuit. Flush inside and out. Saltwater is extremely corrosive and left to dry on the wetsuit will crystallize which will weaken the cell structure of the neoprene leading to premature failure of the wetsuit. The wetsuit should be hung to dry by draping it over a wide hanger in a ventilated area that is not in direct sunlight. Leaving a suit in direct sunlight will shorten the life of your wetsuit. Avoid hanging the wetsuit from the shoulders and using a narrow clothes hangers as it can damage the wetsuit. The wetsuit should never be worn in chlorine water as chlorine will damage the neoprene. Once dry turn the wetsuit inside out to dry the other surface.

STORING YOUR WETSUIT
Your Isurus wetsuit should be stored on a wide coat hanger to avoid putting creases in the neoprene. It should be stored out of direct sunlight. Never store a wetsuit wet or store it folded, in a bag or in a vehicle for any extended length of time as it will shorten the life of the material.

WETSUIT CLEANER
Using a mild detergent or wetsuit cleaner will recondition the neoprene and extend the wetsuit life. Harmful salt, bacteria and body grease are removed with a mild detergent or wetsuit cleaner. The suit must be rinsed thoroughly after hand washing. Never machine wash the wetsuit.

TRAVELING
When traveling or sending your wetsuit by mail folding the wetsuit correctly will protect your wetsuit from damaging creases.
1. Lay the suit out flat with the backside facing towards you.
2. Fold legs back at the knees.
3. Fold arms in and over the back.
4. Fold the top half of the wetsuit over the bottom half.
5. Fold the whole top half of the body back over the bottom half.
6. As soon as you arrive at your destination or the package is delivered, hang the suit on a wide hanger.
